How do I find and install scripts for my Web site?
FormMail
A formmail script sends you an e-mail containing the results of a form submission on your site. Spammers regularly try to abuse these scripts, so it is important to make sure your formmail scripts are secure. If you will be writing your own formmail script, see Writing Secure FormMail Scripts.
- The NMS FormMail script is probably the most secure one available, so we recommend that you use it if possible.
- Matt's FormMail is an older script which has been secure since version 1.92 was released in 2002.
- cPanel has a built-in clone of Matt's FormMail which you can access by clicking the "CGI Center" icon. Note that the cPanel script will only send e-mail to addresses at your domain.

CGI Center - Counter, Clock, etc.
The "CGI Center" icon in cPanel offers a number of other simple scripts you can install. Please do not use the "Guestbook" or "Advanced Guestbook" scripts, as these scripts do not provide adequate protection against spammers filling your guestbook with links to their sites.
Fantastico - Forum, Blog, CMS, etc.
Fantastico is an addon to cPanel which we license. It allows you to easily install, remove, and upgrade many popular PHP scripts. We recommend you use it whenever possible, because it will make it easier for you to keep your scripts updated as security fixes are released. If you have a hosting plan which places limits on the number of databases, note that Fantastico will use one database for each script you install.
If none of the scripts included in Fantastico meets your needs, there are a number of sites such as www.hotscripts.com which offer a searchable catalog of free and commercial scripts. If you have questions about whether a script will run on our servers, or if you need help with installation, please get in touch.
